My mom told me at this age, you should put a cover on the baby's hands. If they startled, they easily fall back to sleep if their fingers are covered that when they are exposed

less frequently at first but then we got into bathing our baby every other day once they got to a month old, we made it part of our bedtime routine and he loved the bath! x
